The Targeted ColumnAd is a static ad located on the right-hand side, within the
content, on most pages of our site. The Targeted ColumnAd is shown only in
categories of your choice. This allows you to maximize your advertising
campaign by targeting the site users that are most likely to use your product
or service. Within the categories you choose, you can also choose either
the top (ColumnAd1) or bottom (ColumnAd2) location (see screenshot to the right).
Once a location is sold, your ad will be the only one shown in that location.
In other words, no one else’s ad will rotate with yours. This combined with
how integrated the ColumnAd is with our site content, makes it one of the most popular
and effective ads we offer.

the ad performs better and integrates better with our site. The goal of
these requirements is to have the ColumnAd look more like content of our site,
rather than an ad. This format has proven to perform better with our users.

calculated based on a category's impressions and is thus different for each category.
